Our Pastor
Reverend Dr. Preston M Harrison, Sr. is the youngest son of the late Roosevelt Harrison, Sr. and Susie M Harrison of Augusta, Georgia and Batesburg, South Carolina. Reverend Dr. Harrison is married to Stacy Harrison for 33 years and they have four God-fearing children: Preston II, LaQuita, Ny’Tikka, and Khamini Harrison.
Pastor Harrison served as an Associate Minister at Veighle Chapel Baptist Church of Columbia SC, Interim Pastor at Gum Springs II Baptist Church of Bishopville SC, Interim Pastor Calvary Baptist Church of Ridgeway SC, Associate Pastor at New Life Baptist Church of Columbia SC, and Senior Pastor of Long Branch Missionary Baptist Church Gifford SC. He currently serves as Senior Ppastor of the Blackjack Baptist Church of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Dr. Harrison is a United States Army retiree, a former physics teacher in Richland School District 1, and currently serves as lead professor at Carolina Theological Bible Institute in Blackfield and Bowman, South Carolina. He has done extensive studies and earned the following degrees:
- Associates degree in Business Management from Columbia Junior College
- Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Central Texas College
- Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling and Theology from James Dussault University of Sarasota, Florida
- Doctorate of Pastoral Care and Seminary from Duke University School of Divinity
- Masters of Biblical Studies – New Testament from Andersonville Theological Seminary
- Doctor of Christian Counseling Faith Evangelical Seminary of Tacoma, Washington
- Doctor of Divinity from James Dussault University of Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Harrison’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 11:6:
“… for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ it is for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believer to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
